Project Description: The Redefining Displacement Project, is an interdisciplinary and multicultural project with emphasis on the visual arts and performance. The intention of the project was to engage our diverse community in a meaningful way by exploring the question: How have individuals and communities negotiated displacement? Displacement is a theme that relates to many cultures in Phoenix due to the constant influx of immigrants, exiles, and transplants.
